So, what is a Shield Maiden?

It comes from Norse legends of women who were primarily responsible for their homes and families. But, when there was a threat to their life, family, or property they would take up their shield and sword and become a protector.

  • Camaraderie with other women, taking control of their safety, and learning to protect themselves and their loved ones.
  • Real philosophies, strategies, and tactics you can use TODAY to protect yourself and your loved ones.
  • Hands on training. Yes, you’ll use what you learn and see it work for you. This includes real hand to hand jiu jitsu and situation assessment walk through outside, in a real environment.
  • 4 hours of real, proven self protection Jiu Jitsu and other Practical Self Protection Methods. This isn’t a couple of hours of ideas – It’s real, it’s practical, it’s hands on!.
  • Access to continued self protection training at the Jits for Life Training Center in Silverdale Washington

  • How to recognize a potentially dangerous situation.
  • Phases of aggression and how to be prepared for each.
  • How to identify and respond to a potential threat.
  • Strategies and tactics used to defend and escape while you’re  standing, or on the ground!
  • Common attack scenario defenses.
